Full High-density Dimensional Profiling

The chroma+scan 2400 family sensors project multiple laser lines from each sensor to provide 3D profile information on manufactured goods which are stationary or moving slowly in the inspection station.

The family includes models with either 4 or 8 separate laser lines at a selection of line spacing, with each line providing a full high density dimensional profile. If the work piece moves even a small amount in the longitudinal direction during inspection, very high density over the full surface is provided.

With several models in different sizes and laser line configurations, these sensors fit the needs of many applications. Very large standoff provides easy implementation in many inspection applications.

For larger objects, chroma+scan 2400 sensors can be mounted end to end or around the object for a complete surface profile, while maintaining the same high accuracy.

Ambient Light Performance

Many industrial measurement applications must operate reliably in conditions where ambient light in the inspection station can not be controlled. The chroma+scan sensors are specifically engineered to operate in challenging ambient light conditions.

Compatible with Legacy Sensors

These sensors are designed for new installations as well as an easy retrofit  upgrade to systems using earlier sensor models to improve system performance with faster operation providing higher density, more reliable profile data.
